The end of Summer of 2012 was brought to a close with a couple of good, free concerts in Denver's Civic Center Park at A Taste of Colorado. September started Saturday the 1st with an afternoon concert by Burton Cummings, singer, lyricist and musician formerly with The Guess Who {"These Eyes,""Undun,""New Mother Nature/American Woman,""No Time,""Share The Land" and plenty more), {a band that now only exists as a fake band capitalizing on the original band's name,) had so many hit songs that they should be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Cummings still has a strong, unique voice, and his songs, many of them you probably know, and some you may not ("Guns Guns Guns") still hold up and are rockin' and relevant today, by way of The Burton Cummings Band. This was a show I had been planning to see ever since it was announced. The fans couldn't get enough!

"I'll give you a DOLLAR if you can change my keyboard settings," Burton exclaimed
as the glaring sunlight made it difficult to see the controls.
