Steely Dan At Red Rocks 2008 "Think Fast" Tour

*INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE: The show will still begin at 8pm. Doors at 7pm* - That's the word from the Wells Fargo Theater about tonight's scheduled Steely Dan concert.

That was all about the snow that had arrived this time around for Donald Fagen, Walt Becker and the Dan band.  Last time when they were here, in 2008 at Red Rocks, for their "Think Fast" tour, they indeed did have to think fast when Colorado weather brought a sudden downpour to the festivities.  While it rained on our parade, the Steely men slogged on as best as they could, as they commandeered crew members who were the "Umbrella Men" for the night, standing next to them with umbrellas over Steely Dan so that they could keep on playin'.  The chain lightning didn't feel so good that night!

And now, this time around, it's heavy snow.

Update:
Donald Fagen fared much better when he came back again in two consecutive years with The Dukes of September, which featured himself, along with Duke members Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs.  Those, thankfully, were great evenings where inclement weather did not make an unwelcome entrance.
